Sharp LCD TV

Sharp currently lag behind the likes of Samsung, LG and Sony in terms of selling LCD TV’s but they still provide their customers with great service and quality. Sharp actually first used LCD screens in their calculators decades ago. In fact, they were the first company to use these type of screens and the first Sharp LCD TV appeared for sale back in 2001.

Due to initial restrictions, you could only buy a Sharp LCD TV with a 21 inch screen at first. This was also the case with its competitors. Slowly but surely however, all television companies managed to gradually increase the size of their screens and now you can purchase mega televisions with 65 inch screens and more. Such televisions manage to fill up an entire living room. Because of the amazing quality of both the sound and the picture, you are not just watching a program, you are having an experience.

High Definition (HD) television is in vogue now, but don’t make the mistake of believing that every Sharp LCD TV or any other brand are automatically HD. This is an easy mistake to make due to the superb quality of the picture which offers the viewer crisp images with beautiful bright colors. A HDTV is a different animal entirely and you will have to be prepared to pay quite a lot of money for the privilege of owning one.

Sharp’s ever-popular Aquos range sees yet another new addition in the form of the LE820 series. These televisions give off a superior picture to other TV’s because they use Four Primary Color Technology. Ordinarily, televisions will have red, green and blue, but with a Sharp LCD TV, yellow is added which enables the Aquos range to display over a trillion colors. The company believes that this gives their product the ability to display every color that is possible for the unassisted human eye to see.

This particular make of Sharp LCD TV also uses Fine Motion 120Hz frame rate conversion which easily handles motion blur ensuring that high action scenes can be watched with a crystal clear picture. It also has a full glass front panel as Sharp attempt to rival their competitors in terms of having a television that looks incredible even when it’s turned off.

The Aquos range is just one example of how a Sharp LCD TV can give its viewers an amazing experience as the company tries to make up the ground between them and their fiercest rivals.
